What's behind raids?
Gambling with dice and cards is against state law, so these poker
buddies have to pay the price.
If there were fines to be collected from crack and meth dealers,
maybe our county police could get a few more of these festering sores
out of our communities.
I travel up and down the roads of James Island, cut through streets
such as Seaside Lane, a common area for drug dealers, but I haven't seen
the county's swat team all masked up and weapons drawn there.
Why is this? Could the answer be there is no money in it?
Gun shots ring out in communities all over Charleston County all
night long, but do you see swat teams going into these neighborhoods to
rid the areas of human waste?
Could the answer be because there is no place to put these criminals
who sell death 24/7?
Instead, let's go enforce a law that should have been removed 100
years ago. Let's go to a church to stop bingo. Let's get those bad
homeowners and taxpayers for playing poker.
Yes, it's against the law but so is drunk driving, prostitution,
selling drugs, underage drinking and so many other behaviors. South
Carolina is in a sad of state of affairs when the Charleston County
Sheriff's Office has nothing better to do.
What's next?
Let's round up all the illegal aliens in one of these big stings.
